little bubblelooz...

that's right, you're at the blog that my papa set up for me. mama's the one who's uploading the pics and stuff onto the blog. here's more info about me: my name's not bubblelooz.. (papa and mama just like to call me that...) my name is actually kienan foo zi en. i was supposed to be born on 18 jan 2007. but as God would have it, i only came out on 20 jan 2007. and this was after mama had to check-in to the hospital to induce labour so that i could come out. even then, it took one and a half days before mama started having contractions! after much pain, pushing and prayers, i was finally introduced to this big big world at 4.30pm on saturday, 20 jan 2007. my height/length - 52cm my weight - 3.49kg! okies, enough about me... but you do realise that this blog is all about me. so you can continue browsing through this blog and track my growth and development! :)

mama and me after the "cricket incident"...

mama: "i'm so proud of my baby boy! he saved me from the cricket!"
me: "you're welcome, mama.. anytime!"

my first encounter with an insect - a cricket, for that matter!

in case you can't see what this pic is all about... mama actually tried to take a shot of me and papa checking out the little cricket that had somehow found its way into our house! to cut a long story short.. mama saw the cricket (and being terrified of insects) and wanted to ask papa to try getting rid of it. in the end, she decided that she shouldn't "pass" her fear of insects on to me. afterall, i AM a boy! hahaha.
so, she asked papa to let me "play" with it so that i wouldn't be afraid of creepy crawlies when i grow up.
and you can tell from the pic... i AM intrigued by this jumping little thing...
in fact, i tried touching it too! but oops, think i was too excited... cause guess what happened? (scroll down to see the next pic...)

i accidentally squashed (and i actually mean, killed it!) it in my excitement...
oops.. sorry, mr jiminy cricket! l
ooks like i ended up getting rid of it for mama.. heh. *sheepish grin*
